  1. Can I be assured that my reservation will be confirmed and guaranteed by the hotel?

    All hotel reservations confirmed through myTravelChannel.com are immediately sent to the hotel's central reservations system. The hotel property transmits a unique confirmation number for your reservation. The hotel confirmation number will be shown on your myTravelChannel.com itinerary and may be used for all future reference. We recommend that you take a print of the itinerary for presentation to the hotel on your arrival.

  2. Can I place a hotel reservation on hold?

    All hotel reservations made on myTravelChannel.com are guaranteed with a major credit card, and therefore, a hotel reservation cannot be placed on hold.

  3. Why are some hotels not available on myTravelChannel.com?

    Our hotel inventory system is provided by one of the world's largest suppliers of hotel inventory. We return all hotels that are available according to your search criteria from a wide selection of hotel properties - currently there are over 55,000 properties listed worldwide and more are being added every day.

  4. Can I use airline frequent flier points, or free-stay coupons for hotel reservations on myTravelChannel.com?

    Because we are not always aware of the requirements of the frequent guest programs, currently all reservations using airline miles, credits or free-stay/night coupons have to be booked through the hotel company directly

  5. How do I get the details about a particular hotel?

    Details about hotel amenities, location, address and contact information are found when you click "more information". This information is accessible for every hotel listed in the availability search.

  6. How many hotel rooms can I reserve per reservation?

    At present, myTravelChannel.com enables you to book up to four rooms per night, if you need to book more rooms you will need to contact the hotel directly. Phone and Fax numbers for the hotel can usually be found by 'clicking' on the hotel name or on 'room type.

  7. Can I make reservations for someone else?

    You can book a hotel for a party of up to seven persons including yourself.

  8. What credit cards can I use to guarantee my hotel reservation?

    myTravelChannel.com currently has the facility to accept Visa and MasterCard only. Your credit card details are encrypted and passed to the hotel to guarantee your booking. Payment for your hotel is made when you are at the hotel. Please refer to the information stored within the hotel details for a list of credit cards accepted for payment at an individual property.

    By guaranteeing your reservation with a credit card, the hotel agrees to hold your reservation. Please make sure you familiarize yourself with the individual hotel cancellation policy, which varies by property. The cancellation policy is found within the "cancel policy" details displayed during the booking process. If you fail to cancel your reservation by the required cancellation deadline, the hotel may charge your credit card for the first night stay, (or multiple nights), plus any applicable taxes and service charges.

  9. Can I cancel my hotel reservation?

    At present, we do not provide the capability to cancel a hotel reservation online. We recommend that you contact the hotel directly using the details in the hotel itinerary provided when you made the booking.

    Remember: Please check the hotel cancellation policies because If you fail to cancel your reservation by the required cancellation deadline, the hotel may charge your credit card for the first night stay, (or multiple nights), plus the applicable taxes and service charges.
