  1. What is "MyFareWater Alerts" ?

    MyFareWater Alerts is a quick search facility that we do on your behalf to determine the cheapest fare/rate available on the route or country you have specified in your search criteria. If you wish to narrow your search even further, you should go to the relevant advanced search page, which allows you to choose from a greater number of options.

  2. What happens when I search on a reward scheme?

    If you are a member of an airline or hotel loyalty card scheme such as “Skywards”, this option allows you to search only those airlines/hotels where your card can be used to earn/use your card’s services. An example would be to earn air miles. Please note, however, that we will not credit your card directly with the appropriate air miles – you will need to contact the airline directly.

  3. How do I pay for my flight booking?

    When reserving your booking requests, we allow our customers to either pay the full amount of the payment due or a small deposit of 10% of the price per ticket (minimum deposit applies of $30 per ticket).

    If you pay the full amount of the ticket(s) at the time of booking, then our ticketing agent will contact you to discuss the delivery of the ticket(s) and no further payment will be necessary. However, if you decide to pay only a deposit, your ticketing agent will contact you to decide how you wish to pay the remaining amounts due and then arrange for delivery of your tickets, once your account has been settled. Please note, that if you have not arranged for payment to be made within 48 hours, your booking may be cancelled.

  4. Can I ask for special seating or meal arrangements on my flight?

    Yes. Once you have selected a flight, you can identify your seating and meal requirements in the "Preferences" section. Furthermore, if you have any special requests, these should also be indicated here.

  5. I know there's a flight on an airline at a particular time, but your site doesn't list it. Why not?

    We only provide you with the flights and fares that are available at the moment of your request. If you cannot find information about a specific time or flight, the airline may have sold all the available seats or it may be that the airline has amended its operating schedule.

  6. Can I book tickets for other people using myTravelChannel.com?

    Yes - you can make reservations and purchase tickets for up to 7 inpiduals (including yourself) in a single booking.

  7. How will I know whether I have a confirmed ticket?

    When you make your purchase, we will send you an e-mail that includes your booking reference number and full details of the flights that you have booked, together with the fare details. Please note that, depending on the airline, you should always confirm your flight arrangements forty-eight hours prior to departure.

  8. What identification do I need for airport check-in?

    In most cases, to board an airplane you must show a valid passport. For security reasons, the name on your passport should match the name on your ticket. You may be required to obtain a visa for some destinations. If you require any further information on passport or visa requirements, please contact the embassy of the country to which you will be travelling.

  9. I need my travel arrangements to be as flexible as possible. How do I arrange this?

    Unrestricted tickets are the most flexible option, although they often cost more. If you need the flexibility to change your travel plans, buying unrestricted tickets may be the best solution. Please be sure to read the fare rules closely before you make your final purchase. You can read the fare rules on the "Flight Details" results page.

  10. I would like to cancel/change my booking. How do I do this?

    At present, we are unable to provide modifications to your travel plan (including cancellation) online. You may, however, contact our ticketing Agent referred to in your confirmation e-mail to cancel or amend your booking. Please ensure you have read the 'Conditions' applicable to your ticket as cancellation charges may apply.

  11. Can I change the name on my ticket?

    Airlines do not allow a name change on a ticket. The ticket is a contract between you and the airline based on the fare and rules in effect on the date you bought the ticket. If you cannot use a ticket that has been issued in your name you will need to cancel the ticket. If a different person is travelling, they will need to buy a new ticket based on the fare and rules in effect on the day the new ticket is purchased.

  12. If I can't use my ticket, can I get a refund?

    All refunds are subject to the Conditions you agreed to at the time of purchase. Please contact our ticketing Agent referred to in your confirmation e-mail who will calculate any refund amount due. Note: any refund amount can only be credited back to the credit card used for the purchase.
